About ServiceWeekly
Our Mission
We believe that doing good should be easy. Our platform exists to connect passionate individuals with the charitable organizations that need them most — removing the barriers between the desire to help and the act of helping.
We're dedicated to building a world where every volunteer finds their perfect cause, and every charity finds the support it deserves — because when people and purpose align, communities thrive.
How we make a difference
Thousands of NYC nonprofits need volunteers, but their positions go unfilled — not because students don't care, but because they never see them. Volunteer listings are buried across fragmented websites built for adults, posted with no consideration for school schedules or transit access. Meanwhile, students are required to complete service hours to graduate, but the process of finding legitimate, teen-friendly opportunities is so frustrating that many wait until junior or senior year to scramble.
Consistency matters more than one-off hours. Students who volunteer regularly build real skills, stronger college applications, and genuine connections to their communities. But consistency requires knowing what's available — week after week, not just when a guidance counselor sends a mass email.
ServiceWeekly bridges that gap. We're a platform that connects NYC teens directly with the charities that need them — making it as easy to find a volunteer opportunity as it is to scroll through your feed. Nonprofits get a direct line to the students they struggle hardest to reach. Students get a single place to discover, save, and sign up for real opportunities without the search. More students show up. More communities get helped. More hours toward a better world.
